After losing her parents over 20 years ago and later raising two children as a single mother, our founder established this emporium to provide a stable, dignified life for others walking a similar path. We are fueled by a fire to support young women and single mothers in our community seeking livelihood and hope.

At Serenity Pony Express, we believe that every beauty service provided in our Ongata Rongai emporium is an opportunity for a woman to rebuild her life. By combining premium salon services with a deep social mission, we create sustainable livelihoods for our team while offering world-class care to our clients across Nairobi and Kajiado County.
Sophia Mutoro joined us when she was struggling with irregular house chores and the heavy responsibility of supporting a sister living with Sickle Cell Anaemia. Since starting at Serenity, she has regained her dignity and now uses her salary and commissions to contribute toward her sister’s medication, bringing relief and hope back to her family.
Mercy Nafula, a single mother of four, was our very first beneficiary. Facing a season of despair and extreme financial pressure, she found a stable platform at Serenity to rebuild her confidence. Through her work in stock management and financial recording, she has regained stability and is determined to see all four of her children through school.
Founded on January 19, 2024, Serenity is the founder's response to the hardships she faced as a single mother. Our ultimate goal is to grow into a fully equipped training hub, expanding our services and reach to ensure that more women in Ongata Rongai & Nairobi can turn their own lived experiences into professional expertise and sustainable income.
